A Life of Satire

1.) Jonathan Swift was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1667.
2.) He moved to England in 1688 due to the Revolution at the time.
3.) He was employed as secretary to Sir William Temple in 1689.
4.) Swift's employer, Temple, died in 1699.
5.) Jonathan Swift wrote his first book, The Battle of the Books in 1697, yet it wasn't published until 1704.
